ABOUT ME

As a bilingual in English- and French-speaker who is passionate about language, speech and language therapy studies seemed to be the logical next step in my academic career. I graduated at Institut Libre Marie Haps with distinction and now offer support to children from toddlers to teenagers in their language development. I offer therapy in both English and French that targets language and literacy difficulties. I am also trained in therapy for facial clefts and orofacial myofunctional disorders in people of all ages.

After a few years of practice, I decided to specialise in psychomotor skills in order to offer a more physical and rhythmic approach during my speech therapy sessions.

Patience and creativity are my main qualities and allow me to offer fun and engaging content adapted to each person's needs. I also find it important to create a strong therapeutic alliance with parents.

Areas of intervention:

  • developmental language delays and disorders ("dysphasia")

  • speech sound disorders (phonological disorders, articulation disorders, verbal dyspraxia)

  • learning impairments in literacy ("dyslexia" & "dysorthographia")

  • orofacial myofunctional disorders (tongue thrust, dysfunctional chewing, bruxism, etc.)

  • facial clefts (e.g. cleft palate) and/or velar incompetence

  • stuttering/stammering and cluttering
